The letter sent by Lucasfilm’s legal team, asking Hong Kong-based Wicked Lasers to cease selling lasers branded like light sabers has been sold via the popular e-Bay auction site.
The letter sold for $3,850 and was bid on by 12 people.
That’s a lot of money for a legal document.
Makes you wonder if there might not be a new market for selling cease and desist letters from famous people and companies on e-Bay in the near future.
Funny thing is, no one has received a single Laser. Mine was ordered a month ago and the company has yet to tell the truth on when people can expect to get their laser. Check out their facebook page to see how many angry people are out there waiting for their pre-paid items.
