The man behind the voice of Buzz Lightyear could reprise his role for a fourth “Toy Story” installment–assuming Disney and Pixar decided to do another one.
Tim Allen is reportedly still under contract to voice Buzz for a fourth film.
However, before you hit the comments with how we don’t need a fourth “Toy Story” and that the third installment provided a perfect wrap-up to the story, consider that a Disney spokesperson said this, “We are thrilled with the audiences response to Toy Story 3, and fans will be seeing more of the Toy Story characters in a short film next year. At this time, we have nothing to announce regarding another full-length feature.”
The contract for Allen’s services heralds back to his days on “Home Improvement.” Disney may have wanted to lock the actor in for four movies at the time. But that doesn’t mean they have to or want to make one.

They should do a Big Screen Adaptation of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, you know that awesome cartoon that Disney did a few years back!
I’d love to see the LGMs again!
****Spoiler if you haven’t seen Toy Story 3 yet…..
The perfect way to let Tim Allen honor his contract, and get that fourth Toy Story installment would be to do a bit about their new life with the girl they were given to, but only have it as the short story that Pixar shows before each new movie.
the 3rd toy story was good. but what is the 4th toy story going to be about. i’d hate to see it be the same. how about another barbie. and tim allen is a good actor. please make a good 4th movie.
