After a test screening last week, “Tron: Legacy” is going back for a bit of polish.
To help add “some soul” to the movie, Disney has asked some of the writers from Pixar hits like “Toy Story 3” and “Wall-E” to work on the highly anticipated film.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that director Joe Kosinski’s early cut was shown to the creative team at Pixar, including “John Lasseter, Ed Catmull, ‘The Incredibles’ director Brad Bird, ‘Toy Story 3’ screenwriter Michael Arndt, and others” with an eye toward creating material for re-shoots that took place over a six-day period this past June.
So does the news seem encouraging that Disney is bringing in this team to help the movie or do you worry that it may go the other way?
Don’t care. I’m just concerned that I’m getting emails now from go2meeting on an email address that I have only given sliceofscifi for contests. Why are you sharing your email list with them?
um… Yeahhh… I’m going to need you to come in on… Saturday. We’ve got a lot of slack to pick up….
T R O N, that spells doomed.
Oy with the test screenings. Plenty of movies have been ruined by test screenings. The only bright light in this dark cloud is that they’re bringing on Pixar people.
