Is the Crack in the Universe from “Doctor Who” Real?

Is the Crack in the Universe from “Doctor Who” Real?

June 23, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

If you’ve been watching the fifth series of “Doctor Who,” (and if you haven’t, why not?!?), then you will know that a mysterious crack in universe has been following the Doctor and Amy all season.

It’s all fiction, right?

Maybe, maybe not.

A new photo from NASA reveals a snake-like object around 11,000 light-years away in the constellation Sagittarius looks suspiciously like the crack in the universe that has plagued the Doctor and Amy this season. NASA says it is “a thick, sooty cloud large enough to swallow dozens of solar systems and may be harboring beastly stars in the process of forming.”

Is that really the truth? Or are they covering up that the Doctor really does exist?

Either way, it sounds like Steven Moffat may know more than he’s telling….

Maybe the show became so good, it started ripping apart the fabrics of fantasy and reality, and crossing over into our universe 🙂
