“Green Hornet” Trailer Debuts

June 22, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 5 Comments

We’ve brought you a lot of news about the upcoming Seth Rogan version of “the Green Hornet.”

The production of the film has been a troubled one with directors coming and going and reports that the studio was less than enthusiastic about the final results.

Well, at long last, you can judge for yourself whether “Hornet” has a chance at the box-office. Yahoo! Movies has the first trailer for the film HERE.

The film opens in January of 2011 and is being considered for an upconversion to 3-D.

I know Mike M. had been bagging on Seth Rogan as Green Hornet, but that movie looks watchable.

I’m glad that they have Kato as a straight man to balance out Seth Rogan. I think the movie might be fun.

After seeing A-Team, and really thinking how bad an idea that was… then having one of the most fun experiences watching the movie… I think I’ll go see this now. It looks like a lot of fun. Period. Will it be a masterpiece? OF course not. The one problem we stiff and serious ‘geeks’ have is that we take our opinions and the surrounding properties WAAAAY too seriously. Kind of like the whole 3D debate, just go see the 2D and stop the whining already. I’m kind of back in the mode of just seeing some goold ol’ fashioned popcorn fun movies for the 2010’s… Kick-@ss, The Losers, Human Target, The A-Team… they all have one thing in common… they are fun to watch. Great properties? No. But do they have a lot of rewatchability? Absolutely.
