Production on the big-screen version of Cap will begin later this year with Chris Evans in the title role.
I’m really hoping that this is the modern costume and not the one for the World War II era. That costume is far too modern-looking for the 1940-1950 timeframe.
The movie could be the most amazing film in history, but the wrong costume in the wrong era will rip me right out of the experience.
The boots and the belt look WWII…
Well maybe he just likes vintage gear in order to hold remember where/when he came from.

The costume definitely looks more functional so I can see it working for WWII as well as the modern era. I definitely like it.
I hope this is the costume he is wearing when found burried innthe snow/ice. I like the wings, and besides it makes it more difficult when making superheroes out of balloons when their costume changes.
I hope he keeps his 1911’s. I fear they will take them away and give him a Walkie Talkie to be politically correct.
