Thankfully, they’re not rebooting the classic animated version of “Cinderella.”
But the House of Mouse is planning another live-action take on the popular fairy tale according to Deadline.
Disney has hired “The Devil Wears Prada” screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna to craft a script for a new, live-action version of “Cinderella.” Based on the success of “Alice in Wonderland,” Disney is eager to see other animated classics get a live-action big-screen version.
There’s no word yet on what approach the script will take to the script–whether it’s a retelling of the story or a continuation along the lines of “Alice.” There’s also no indications yet whether or not the film will be in 3-D, though given the current trend in Hollywood it probably will be.

Word by word, frame by frame, they’re sucking away my childhood years and replacing them with corporate pap.
