“Chuck” Gets Fourth Season

“Chuck” Gets Fourth Season

May 15, 2010 By Michael Hickerson 9 Comments

As NBC said farewell to “Heroes” and “Law and Order” today, the Peacock network has signed off for a fourth season of “Chuck.”

EW’s Michael Ausiello says the show has been given a 13-episode pick-up for season four.

NBC has not officially confirmed the news yet, but is expected to Sunday when they announce their full 2010-11 schedule.  No word yet on when “Chuck” might return to the line-up.

Also there’s little word yet on if the show might get a longer pick-up should ratings warrant it.  As you may recall, season three was given a 13 episode renewal last year only to see it extended when NBC needed the series to run longer.

But the good news, for now, is “Chuck” is back!

Ouch, Law & Order is gone too? Damn, so much for breaking the Gunsmoke record. I guess a tie is OK though.

I really want to like this show. I’ll try and start from season one again and see if I can past the second episode this time. I’m assuming it gets better. I just felt that it was too forced.
