Jones Soda Offers D&D Flavored Soda

Jones Soda Offers D&D Flavored Soda

May 13, 2010 By Michael Hickerson 4 Comments

Looking for something different to serve at your next gaming night?

How about giving your friends a taste of Dungeons and Dragons….literally?

Popular soda maker, Jones Soda has begun offering a new limited edition set based on the popular role playing game Dungeons and Dragons.

The six-pack includes flavors like Illithid Brain Juice, Potion of Healing, Sneak Attack, Eldritch Blast, Dwarven Draught and Bigby’s Crushing Thirst Destroyer.

News of the sodas hit the Net this week and have already proven popular. The initial run has sold out, but don’t worry. They’re making more.

You can order a limited-edition six-pack over at Jones Soda for delivery at the end of the month … if you dare.

We expect that the gang over at PodCulture will have a Geek Cuisine  segment on these any day now….

Um, I heard about these last year.

New flavors or just new labels slapped on existing products?

These are probably old flavors with new labels… they had a similar tie-in with Magic: The Gathering (5 planeswalker-themed Jones sodas) and it’s what they did then.

Still, the Bigby’s one makes me laugh.

Yeah I’m also curious why so many sites are posting this like it’s news – these were out partway into 2009….
