Fans Rally To Show Apprecation, Possibly Save “Seeker”

April 30, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 12 Comments

Earlier this week, we brought you the bad news that “Legend of the Seeker” had been canceled after two seasons.

But fans of the show haven’t lost hope they could get a third season of the syndicated series.

Fans are joining together to show their appreciation for the show by purchasing an ad in Variety to thank the cast and crew for their work on the show.  Fans hope to show their appreciation and possibly catch the attention of another network to give the show an eleventh hour reprieve.

You can find out more and donate to the cause at: saveourseeker.com.  You can also find out the latest via Twitter using the tag: #saveourseeker

We’ll keep fans up to date on the latest developments as we know them.

Thank you very much for the mention. We appreciate all those who help get the word out about our efforts. Quality television that isn’t “reality” or a typical doctor/lawyer spinoff is becoming more rare all the time. Hopefully someone who knows anything about timeslots and promotion will give it a chance. Save our Seeker.

Yay! Thank you for posting this! The fandom really appreciates all the positive attention and shout outs our Save Our Seeker campaign has been getting! I hope things work out in the end. Seeker deserves to live on, hopefully the studio will come to their senses.

This show is the best show currently on television! A true allegory of the 3 parts of human consciousness. Zedd is Thought; Kahlan is Emotion; Richard is Action / Will. The episode with Sister Nicci and the maternity spell (taken from the Faith of the Fallen book) was amazing; right there they tell you – “Your life is yours and yours alone, what you do with it is up to you.” This show is about Individualism vs. Collectivism and there simply is not enough of this on television. Legend of the Seeker needs to be saved! There NEEDS to be a third season!

After a quite good 1 season I think the show went downhill through the second season. At least after half of the second season. It was like the ideas dried out and it was just like any other series. The only reason to watch this second season is to find out if Richard can score with Kathlan.

It´s better to canel it in time that let it run and lose all the viewers. Thanks. It was fun while it lasted

This is a really good show and we love the cast. It needs to continue.
We here at Slice will do our best to help keep it on the air for awhile.

Thanks for mentioning the campaign! I love this show but the passion my fellow fans have shown in the last week has been absolutely amazing.
