Alice Eve Could Be Female Lead For “Captain America”

Alice Eve Could Be Female Lead For “Captain America”

April 8, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

alice_eveA few days ago, we brought you the story about actress Emily Blunt removing herself from consideration for the female lead in “Captain America.”

Now we have news on an up and coming actress in Hollywood who may be linked to the role.

Actress Alice Eve,  most recently seen in the comedy “She’s Out of My League,” has been linked to the role.

Eve would play Peggy Carter in the movie opposite Chris Evans as Steve Rodgers.

As of now, there is no official confirmation by Eve or the studio on the casting.  But there could be an official word on who will play Carter in the coming days or weeks.

For more on Evans’ thoughts on playing Captain America tune in to the live taping of Slice of SciFi tonight on uStream or when the show airs Saturday.

Well Peggy is actually Steves WWII love interest and Sharon’s aunt in the Comic. Going to be interesting to see how they do this if they combine Sharon/Peggy or actually do the Aunt niece between the two different eras
