Yeah, Chris Pine is the only one I recognize.

Apart from Pine, never heard of ’em.

I would like to see Mark Valley from Human Target play the role. He should have been on this list!

where’s adam baldwin? don’t see his name anywhere…

I like Mark Valley… But I think Pine would be better as Captain America.

Jensen Ackles from Supernatural, Ryan McPartlin (Captain Awesome from Chuck), Patrick Flueger (4400 Shawn Farrell) are good but I can’t see them as Cap.

John Krasinski (The Office), I cannot see him as Cap. The others I have no idea who they are.

Adam Baldwin could be good, but I think Pine would be better.

    Nathan Fillion?

    Yeah, Fillion . . . he’ll work for Pennys.

I’m holding out for harvey fierstein. He may not look good in the suit, but it’ll be a blast to listen to him deliver those Captain-isum lines. LOL

  10. Lejon from Chandler says

Conspicuously not showing on the list – John Barrowman

He has all the needed requirements:
    Speaks English like an American
    Lantern Jaw
    Awesome actor
    Solid athletic build.
-AND might get the rest of the world watching the movie.
    win win win win win
and yet, not on the list.

Looks like they’re going younger than previously rumored contenders. I think Ryan “Captain Awesome” McPartlin could do a respectable job with the role.

  12. Sam Sloan says

    March 4, 2010 at 9:53 pm

    Ryan all the way.

Will Farrell. After what I heard of the plot, it’s going be a joke anyway, I love how hollywood screws with cannon. It’s already a bomb, why not go all the way?

    Tim

  14. Mike from Dead Moines says

If half of what I hear about this movie is true, we might as well go for broke. I suggest either Bill Shatner or Johnathan Frakes.
Maybe Ron White can play “The Red Skull”?

  15. Bob Singer says

    March 26, 2010 at 10:02 am

    Jon Cena!
