Back in the 80’s and 90’s when a big-screen version of “Spider-Man” was stuck in development limbo, director James Cameron was once attached to the project.
Cameron put in a lot of work on the project, including a script outline and storyboarding his vision for our favorite web-spinner. However, he and Marvel clashed over some of the developments Cameron wanted in the story, leading the Oscar-winning director to leave the project for other pursuits.
