Audiences across the world are hungry for James Cameron’s “Avatar.”
In the three weeks since its release, the film has taken in t $1.1 billion worldwide. That figure pushes the film past the first “Pirates of the Caribbean installment and into third place all-time for box-office receipts.
Next up in the movie’s sights is “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and then “Titantic.”
While “Avatar” is proving to be a juggernaut at the box-office, many box office watchers don’t expect it to equal or surpass the $1.84 billion “Titanic” earned.
