NBC wants to get the word out about the upcoming third season of “Chuck.”
And they’re willing to make it worth your while to do so. (As if getting the audience this show deserves to watch it, thus giving us a fourth season isn’t enough!)
The network has a new game called “Mission: Chuck Me Out.”
The social media game rewards fans with points for “completing daily missions & sharing the greatness of “Chuck” on Twitter, Facebook and MySpace,” according to the official Web site. Whoever earns the most points by March 8, 2010, will be named the grand prize winner and will get their picture on the show in one of the show’s “flashes.” Weekly winners will also be awarded and will receive a “Chuck” gift pack with goodies from the show.
“The fans of ‘Chuck’ have been incredibly passionate and supportive of the show. We want to reward this loyalty and activate further social conversation about the incredible new season. This innovative promotion is an excellent way to accomplish both objectives,” said Adam Stotsky, president, NBC Entertainment Marketing, in a statement.
So, what are you waiting for? Let’s get to work!
And don’t forget to tune in for the season premiere on Sunday, January 10.
