Martin Issues Call for “Game of Thrones” Extras

October 1, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

Are you male, between the ages of 16 and 60 and be in Northern Ireland at the end of the month?

If so, you could be an extra on the pilot for “A Game of Thrones.”

Author George R.R. Martin issued the call on his blog yesterday, saying, “Ever since HBO first took out an option on A GAME OF THRONES — even before we got an actual production order — I’ve been getting emails from readers who desperately wanted to be a part of the production. “I’ll do anything!” some of you have written.1 Well, now’s your chance. The call has gone out for extras.”

If you’re interested, you can find out more HERE.

I’m liking the casting so far. Sarah Conner (TV) is gonna play Cercei! But I thought she was blond. Hm. Anyway, casting looks good so far esp. Sean Bean. Can’t wait. Might just have to get cable for the first time in over a decade.
