Ratings for “Heroes” Aren’t Good

September 25, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 18 Comments

The good news is we could be getting “Chuck” back sooner rather than later.

That’s bad news for “Heroes” which saw record-level low ratings for its two hour season premiere Monday evening.

Monday’s episode pulled in 6.1 million viewers and a 2.8 rating in adults 18-49 for its two-hour premiere.   The ratings are down almost 40% from the season premiere last year and some of the lowest the series has received.

Meanwhile, Fox set a record with its first ever Monday win for the two-hour season premiere of “House.”

In good news, CBS’s “The Big Bang Theory” did well in its new time slot, garnering its highest ratings ever.   The series garnered 12.96 million and achieved a rating of 7.9.  The comedy also built on its lead-in, “Two and a Half Men.”

Being a Heroes fan in the Farpoint Media Community is a bit like being a Mormon in 19th century Missouri. 🙁

Well at least Zachary Quinto has another role he can fall back on and maybe he can ask JJ (Abrams) to see if he can use some of them in the next “Star Trek” movie.

OK so Heroes was down 46% on the first week. Thats just a start, I want to see it down 55% next week and 60% the week after that. The sooner Heroes is gone the sooner we get back Chuck.

Anyone want to guess which show will have a higher rating this week–a new episode of Heroes or the debut of SG:U?

When exactly did the Slice comments section turn into high school? What’s next, pushing Heroes fans into lockers? Jerk asses. You don’t like the show, fine. No excuse to be mean. That speaks more ill of YOU than it does of Heroes or us Sidekicks.

P.S. Dollhouse and Glee? Really? Hey, you wanna watch them that’s great, but me personally I’d rather run my testicles through a cheese grater.

I’m sorry, but I just think that Dollhouse getting a 2nd season when Firefly didn’t even get a full 1st is proof there is no God. 😉

Just wait till sexy MF gets the critical acclaim she deserves with Jennifer’s Body then you’ll be eating your words Arkle. 😉

To get back OT… um… she is the only thing that will save Heroes… she will be appearing as… bazooka girl.

Jeez, Arkle. Lighten up. I think most people agree that Firefly got rooked. I used to be one the biggest boosters of Heroes, but after last season, when they turned Hiro into a goof and just made of mess of Sylar, I want the show to just die with dignity now.

Oh wait.. *gives Arkle a wedgie and then stuffs him into his precious Heroes filled locker*

    *cough*

Happy now? Trust me, you’ve not seen anything close to mean from me.
