What about Fringe? That’s my number 1. I voted for Dollhouse, with Flash Forward and Supernatural close behind.

It would be nice to have a poll of all the shows we’re looking forward to: Heroes, Dollhouse, Stargate, and I’m already missing Wharehouse 13.

I still watch Heroes, and won’t cave in to the near fascistic verbal beat down I’ve been getting over it. However, I am still more excited overall about SG: Universe.

V and Flash Forward are on ABC, so I won’t be watching them on principle. Maybe when they hit DVD…

lost, i know it’s not till next year but I will spend all autumn looking forward to it

Fringe is my #1 also… did you forget it? And I REALLY wish FOX had cut Dollhouse and kept Terminator. I wanted to know where THAT story was going…

    I’m going to watch:
    – Stargate Universe (I would never miss this one)
    – Dollhouse (weird, but hey, in a good way)
    – Warehouse 13 (just finishing, looking forward to next season)
    – Sanctuary (I have a lot of trust in these guys)
    – Flash Forward (we’ll see how this works out)
    – The Clone Wars (is getting better and better)
    – Heroes (willing to give it a chance)
    – Defying Gravity (turned out to be great!)

I’m only disappointed in the cancellation of Kings.

    *shakes PC* What about “V”???

  8. RoX says

    Sanctuary!!

You’re list is rather short and missing a few key shows

    BRING BACK FIREFLY NOW!!!!!!

  10. Indiana Jim says

    September 21, 2009 at 4:01 pm

I know they’re only casting, but I’m really looking forward to A Game Of Thrones on HBO.

But seriously, bring back Firefly! I just finished watching the Season 1 episodes and holy crap I knew I liked that show, but I LOVE that show.

  11. Indiana Jim says

    September 21, 2009 at 4:02 pm

I realize they never will, I just like saying it.

I voted ” I’m Not Looking Forward To Any of Them ” because all i want is to see
Terminator : the Sarah Connor chronicles back on TV (direct DVD-movie at least).

    I want one thing!

    Terminator! Cameron! NOW!

  14. Michael Hickerson says

    September 21, 2009 at 5:27 pm

Sorry to everyone for excluding some shows early on. I had a brain fart.

And Indiana Jim—I hate to tell you this but they don’t start filming on Game of Thrones until October. So it could be a while.

  15. R. Garrett Wilson says

    September 21, 2009 at 5:30 pm

I agree with Indiana Jim, bring back Firefly. I loved that show.

  16. Chris From Poland says

Since you’re in the mood of adding shows to the list, you might as well add “Legend Of The Seeker”. It’s a silly, fun enough show to watch. And I have a thing for brunettes.

While I’m very tempted to shout BRING BACK CHUCK NOW at the top of my lungs…to be 100% truthful, I am really looking forward to seeing where they will take the Stargate franchise next with “Stargate Universe”, particulary with such a strong supporting cast surrounding the leads of Robert Carlyle, Ming Na and Lou Diamond Phillps.

Watch out FOX, the fans of Terminator : the Sarah Connor chronicles will haunt this poll and your shows will be terminated !!!

  19. Chris fromTSCCland says

    September 22, 2009 at 9:34 am

Wow, i think Dollhouse and fringe are really in bad shape judging by the results.

Where are you Supernatural and Chuck fans ?

  20. Chris from TSCCland says

    September 22, 2009 at 2:59 pm

Dollhouse, Fringe, Supernatural, Chuck, you ‘ve been terminated !!

The Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles crowd was there.

  21. Indiana Jim says

    September 22, 2009 at 3:10 pm

@Michael Hickerson – yeah I know that’s why I said I know they’re only casting. I realize it will be a while, but it’s really the only thing coming that has real merit for me.

  22. Indiana Jim says

    September 22, 2009 at 3:11 pm

Legend of the Seeker is a bad adaptation of a bad series of books. But in the spirit of Hercules and Xena I love it.

  23. Michael Hickerson says

    September 22, 2009 at 3:39 pm

@Chris from TSCCland. Well, I think what we have here is a vocal minority of Terminator fans who would have liked a third season and are voting in the poll. I would have liked a third season, but it’s gone and there’s nothing we can do it about it. Besides, Dollhouse was better down the stretch than T:TSCC in my mind. With the exception of the death of Brian Austin Green’s character, nothing from January to the end of the season on Terminator was really that spectacular.

@Jim. I am also looking forward to seeing Game of Thrones. But I know it will be a loooooooooooooong time before we see it. If it gets picked up, of course. It’s only the pilot that is filming…. But if a filler show like Legend of the Seeker can make it, surely there is room for a quality fantasy series.

Flash Forward has a L*O*T of hype to live up to. Especially when those attached claim it is N*O*T SciFi!

  25. Chris from TSCCland says

    September 22, 2009 at 5:15 pm

@Michael Hickerson. Listen, and understand. That terminator crowd is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until FOX brings back Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles! LOL.

Sorry Michael, nothing personal and keep posting good articles on sliceofscifi.com.

    Doctor Who… ’nuff said.

  27. Robin says

    September 23, 2009 at 3:45 pm

Dollhouse, Fringe, Sanctuary, and SGU. Not necessarily in that order.

I’ll watch Smallville and Heroes because I’m a completionist and I hope they’ll get better but it seems unlikely. And I’ll give V and Flash Forward a shot to see if I like them. I’m way behind on Supernatural and Vampire Diaries is just too stupid for words. My Fall TV schedule is full enough that I can hold out until Spring for Chuck. 🙂

  28. Sam says

    September 23, 2009 at 3:01 pm

@ Chris from TSCCland: Brilliant!… and spot on. 😉

    SANCTUARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  30. Michael Hickerson says

    September 27, 2009 at 9:08 pm

@Rick..yes but we don’t get new Who until late November….

And it’s only three episodes to usher out the RTD era.
