The third season of SyFy’s “Destination: Truth” returns tonight at 10 p.m. EST.

This season Josh Gates will travel to some of the most extreme locations on earth, including the isolated Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan and the heart of the world’s worst nuclear accident at Chernobyl.

Tonight’s episode is “Haunted Forest/Alux” and it includes a guest-appearance by the Ghost Hunters.

This is a guilty pleasure of mine, too, and I think Josh is funny, and kinda cute. The Giant Anaconda episode from last year might be my favorite… he made a quip something like “I’m on the wrong show on SciFi… you don’t see the cast of Galactica having to do this” and I had to rewind it to make sure I’d heard him right. Cracked me up 🙂

I look forward to the things that inevitably happens to him and his crew when they are camped out in some jungle location at 3am looking for the ‘monster of the week’. I think to myself that there’s no way he or his people are being paid near enough to put with all the crap they have to deal with. 🙂
