If they do have Megan as Catwoman then she will be this generations attempt at it and will further the argument over who was best in the role which will be fun since the TV series in the ’60’s couldn’t decide on one person to play the role.
Here are the three that played Catwoman during the Adam West run on TV:

    Eartha Kitt
Lee Meriwether (at least 3 times and forgotten ahen this topic is brought up)
    Julie Newmar

    And in the movies:

    Michelle Pfeiffer
Halle Berry (if only she had a better script to work with)

No way! Don’t get me wrong, Megan Fox is great in popcorn movies like “Transformers”, but not in a more serious movie. I want a real actress in serious movies, which was why I was thrilled when they replaced Katie Holmes with Maggie Gyllenhaal.

I just find her too immature and vapid to take on a role as emotionally complex as Catwoman should be in Nolan’s Gotham. Selena Kyle should not talk like an eight-year-old.

Halle Berry’s Catwoman was such a mind-numbing experience, nearly anyone else with any other direction should do better! However it would most certainly be a “Jump the Shark” (go Fonzie!) event.

While I have no doubt that she would look great in the role and Nolan would get a good performance out of her, even even made Katie Holmes not suck, I think there are better actors to tap for this role.

There are two pictures of Megan Fox on the main page of Slice right now, isn’t that a little bit of overkill :-)? (I’m from the minority of guys who find her ugly…)

Nolan would go for acting talent and the look. I’m thinking someone like Rosario Dawson but she might be a bit too tall and stringy. Naomi Watts looked good with dark hair in Tank Girl. If they cast too big if a star it could be distracting. Most importantly don’t make her blond again. Pfeifer did an ok job but they should have at least dyed her heair.

Skiznot: You ever see Rent? Trust me, Rosario can do agile, and that’s what a good cat burglar should be. 😉

I’d like to see someone new in the role. Why not? I want to see the Selina Kyle as done by Ed Brubaker myself. So why not go with someone who has the looks AND has the acting chops. Of course all of this is moot if the writing sucks.

“Jump the shark” or Jump the SKANK”?? Maybe she could team up with Paris Hilton?

I think she could pull off the Cat woman performance from the Grayson Trailer.

Megan Fox is not old enough for the role and she hasn’t proven she can do anything with real depth yet. In about five years if she shows she has the acting chops she might be a good choice but not now.

[…] Even though Warner Bros. & DC Comics are denying the rumor that Megan Fox will be the new Catwoman in the next Batman film…could you picture her in that role? Yes; No; Only if they couldn’t get someone else for the role. … Excerpt from: Can You Visualize Megan Fox as Catwoman? : Slice of SciFi […]
