I’d say Star Trek and Distrcit 9 are tied for the top spot (albeit for very different reasons).

I’m 2/3 with Arkle. Throw in Moon for a 3-way tie.

So far I’ve only seen Star Trek and Transformers 2.

And Lord knows, it’s not Transformers 2.

I’ve only seen the following, so far:

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
    Star Trek
    Terminator: Salvation
    Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
    X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Of these, I’d say the best would be (1) X-Men Origins, then (2) Star Trek.

I was disappointed by both Transformers 2 and Terminator.

Night at the Museum was what I expected, ok for a watch once.

I’m eager to see GI JOE (I’m hoping for a good movie) and District 9 (Heard a lot of good things about this) and The Final Destination 3D (Liked the original, and the sequels)

The child in me loved “UP”. It was the best movie I have seen so far. Then “Land of the lost” and maybe “Star ‘wars’ Trek”.

    Star Trek.

District 9 was the best sci-fi I’ve seen this summer. It’s tied with UP as the best movie I’ve seen this summer.

Yeah, I went with the crowd here. Odd that such a “reboot” would get the big nod… would a Star Wars reboot be as welcome?

    ….um.

Huh. Y’know, as much as people complain about it, that Luke was too whiny, Haden was made of Oak, and Jar Jar made people want to jump off a bridge, not to mention the whole discrepancy in the technology levels, and special effects… I can’t say I think it would be a BAD idea…

Don’t go see G I Joe, Dave. Trust me, another sucky one. Is it me is was last year just a bad time for movies?

    Star Trek is a 5 out of 5 and Distrcit 9 is A 4 out of 5

Okay, I’ve seen District 9. Nothing else is topping it.
