After months of pursuit by several networks and studios, NBC has won the rights to adapt D.C.’s “Midnight, Mass.”
John Rozum’s “Midnight, Mass.” revolves around Adam and Julia Kadmons, a sophisticated, sexy, globe-trotting husband-and-wife team who solve mysteries and crimes of the supernatural. The series will be a live-action property for NBC.
The comic series, part of D.C.’s Vertigo inprint has been one of the more pursued properties according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The network has optioned a pilot script from writers Gretchen Berg and Aaron Harberts. The duo are currently working as producers for the upcoming NB series, “Mercy.”
Over the years, almost a dozen producers at the studio had taken a stab at the comic, but this is the first time such a project has been set up at a network.

Because how many shows do not feature people who solve crime? Fringe is great, Warehouse 13 is…not terrible, but this is getting ridiculous.
