“Epitaph One” Available on iTunes, Amazon

August 13, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

On last week’s Slice of SciFi, during our TV Talk segment, we discussed how the upcoming season of “Dollhouse” will build on the “lost” episode, “Epitaph One.”

Creator and producer Joss Whedon assured fans that while the episode would serve as a cornerstone to season two, fans who hadn’t seen it wouldn’t be left out.

The episode was released as part of the first-season DVD set and has been shown in several overseas markets.  And while Fox has no plans to air the episode (surely they could cut one hour of their reality shows or a repeat of “House”), fans in the United States can now see the episode on iTunes and Amazon, according to TV Squad.

So if you don’t want to plunk down the cash for the full DVD set and don’t want to have to take BT Airlines to see it, you can now catch it on-line via iTunes or Amazon.   No word yet on if the episode might be made available via streaming web site Hulu.

It just did not live up to the hype. If I was in a generous mood, I could call this an “OK” episode. But it’s not worthy of the hype surrounding it.
