Now that he’s finished work on “Battlestar Galactica,” actor Edward James Olmos is looking for a new project.
It looks like he’s found one. According to MTV’s Splash Page, Olmos has joined the cast of “The Green Hornet.”
“I’m on my way to do ‘The Green Hornet,'” said Olmos. “It’ll be a lot of fun with Seth [Rogen], Nicolas Cage and Cameron Diaz.”
No word yet on the character Olmos will play. Seth Rogan is attached as the title character with Cage playing an unspecified villain.
“Hornet” has been plagued with behind-the-scenes issues since it began, including the departure of original director, Stephen Chow. Chow was also set to star as Kato, but has since left the project.
Despite all of that, the movie is set to begin filming later this year and hit theaters next summer.
