Next “Underworld” Movie Will Be 3-D

August 10, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 12 Comments

kate_beckinsale_underworldWeb site Shock Till You Drop is reporting that the fourth installment in the “Underworld” franchise will be 3-D.

Screen Gems recently gave the green light for the film and has decided to take the series into the third-dimension.  The movie will be the latest in a line of supernatural vehicles shown in 3-D, including “My Bloody Valentine” and the next installment in “Final Destination” series.

No word yet on when in the “Underworld” time line the next movie would take place or if we might get to see Kate Beckinsale in 3-D.

The film has a projected opening in January of 2011.

No Kate = not seeing. She was the only thing that made the first two movies bearable.

I agree too, if Kate is not in it they i doubt it would be the same. My 10 year old daughter reckons ‘no Kate, she won’t watch it’ LOL!!!! I really hate when they change actors/actresses in sequels.
