In the current Hollywood climate and based on the headline, it’d be easy to assume that Oscar-nominated director David Fincher was going to direct a movie-version of the popular social networking site, Facebook. (We are, after all, getting a movie version of “Bazooka Joe” and “Battleship.”)
But that’s not the case here. Fincher has signed on to direct a movie based on Aaron Sorkin’s script about the creation of the popular social networking site.
The film will focus on the evolution of Facebook from its 2004 creation on the Harvard campus by sophomore Mark Zuckerberg to a juggernaut with more than 200 million members.

I am a self confessed Aaron Sorkin geek, I love what ever this guy does. Starting with “A Few Good Men” and right up until the very end of “Studio 60” So I’m looking forward to Face Book the movie. And David Fincher directing, that is just extra sweet ice on the metaphorical cake. I’m not really into face book but I am a huge fan of both the writer and the director so in the words of Delen “Faith manages”
