  • The Broadway version of Spider-Man is ready to go, except for one small detail–it still needs a leading man.
  • Carl Franzblau is taking science to school children with mobile science labs.
  • Masi Oka (aka Hiro on “Heroes”) has come up with an idea for a movie about the world of avatars called “The Defenders”.

Movie Talk:

  • If you want to see the new “Harry Potter” movie on IMAX, you’re going to have to wait even longer.  Due to a schedule conflict, the movie has been moved back two weeks for opening on IMAX screens.
  • Reboot Rage:  They’re working on a reboot/remake of “Scream.”

Interview: This week, we talk to Antonio Elias from “Star Trek.”  Antonio plays Officer Pitts in this summer’s feature film reboot of the classic “Trek” series.

In the Future:

  • Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper are in talks to be in the upcoming “A-Team” movie.
  • SF writer Ben Bova’s B-Four Productions has teamed up with Red Giant Media to develop Bova’s own “The Immortality Factor” as a movie.
