Earlier this week, IGN reported rumors that actress Megan Fox was in the running for the title role in the upcoming “Buffy, the Vampire Slayer” reboot.
Roy Lee, one of the producers with the film says reports of Fox’s involvement in the film are premature.
“The rumors of Megan Fox being involved with Buffy are just rumors,” he said. “While I think she would be great for our project, we are still in the early stages of developing the script.”
In the meantime, fans can see Fox in this summer’s upcoming “Transformers: Rise of the Fallen.” And they can look for her in a pivotal role in “Jonah Hex” which is currently in production. However, the role Fox will play isn’t one from the comics.
“”They’ve changed her name a couple of times—it’s Leila now,” Fox told MTV News. “She is a prostitute. She’s a good ol’ working girl, and she’s a love interest to Jonah [Josh Brolin] … of sorts. I mean, it’s by no means a classic type of relationship.”
“That movie is gonna be amazing,” Fox said. “It’s a post-Civil War, apocalyptic-type western. The director, Jimmy, is a lunatic, and he might be a genius. From some of the things I’ve seen him shoot, it’s a badass movie.”

This Buffy reboot idea is almost as bad as the ridiculous “Highlander II” movie idea. Luckily for movie watchers everywhere, that never happened…

Am I the only person who LIKED the original Buffy movie?
Well, maybe I like Kristy Swanson and Donald Sutherland…Yeah, they worked.
As for the whole “Good ol working girl”, I gotta ask – are hookers in Hollywood really that much better looking than in Arizona? ’cause I got to say, NOT REALISTIC

Megan should be Wonder Woman (yeah, and maybe Buffy too)
