Two more stars have signed on for the just-started-production of “Iron Man 2.” Actors Clark Gregg and Kate Mara will be featured in the upcoming film according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Gregg is reprising his role as Agent Phil Coulson of S.H.I.E.L.D. from the first film.
Mara’s role is being kept “under wraps” according to the Hollywood Reporter. That news has set off a flurry of speculation on Mara’s role. Web site io9.com speculates that Mara could be playing Bethany Cabe, one of Tony Stark’s many girlfriends from the comics, while others think she may end up being Maria Hill, the SHIELD agent who replaced Nick Fury as director of the spy organization around the time of Marvel’s Civil War series.
“Iron Man 2” is currently in production.
