“Smallville,” “Supernatural” Return Tonight

“Smallville,” “Supernatural” Return Tonight

April 23, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

After a couple of weeks off, “Smallville” and “Supernatural” return tonight with the first of four new episodes to complete their seasons.  The good folks at the CW sent over a couple of clips from the episodes to give you a hint of what you’ll see this evening….

SMALLVILLE: (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) — Episode: “Stilleto”

LOIS LANE IS A SUPERHERO — Lois (Erica Durance) believes that she needs a big story to secure her reputation as a star reporter but the red/blue blur continues to elude her. However, after Chloe (Allison Mack) is mugged, Lois steps in to fend off one of the attackers and uses the opportunity to pretend a new superhero, Stiletto, has come to town and is giving exclusives to Lois. Clark (Tom Welling) is concerned Lois will hurt herself pretending to be a superhero but after he is captured by thugs with kryptonite, Lois steps in to save the day. Posted on KryptonSite. Kevin Fair directed the episode written by Caroline Dries (#3T7469).

SUPERNATURAL: (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) — “Jump the Shark”

ANOTHER WINCHESTER BROTHER EMERGES A 19-year-old boy named Adam (guest star Jake Abel) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) looking for John Winchester, claiming to be his son.? Dean and Sam meet Adam, assuming he’s a demon trying to lure then into a trap.? However, they find out that John was indeed the boy’s father and Adam tells them of his “normal” upbringing, which infuriates Dean. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin

Smallville looks like it’s going to suck. Supernatural should be good though.
