Actress Moon Bloodgood told last weekend’s WonderCon that she has done her part to try and get an R-rating for the upcoming “Terminator: Salvation.” And no, she didn’t throw an on-the-set tantrum like co-star Christian Bale.
Bloodgood told the audience she had filmed one scene involving nudity. Whether or not fans get to see it in theaters will depend on how the movie is edited and if the producers are going for a PG-13 ratings or an R-rating.
“It’s a really pretty shot. … I’m actually being really serious,” Bloodgood told SciFi Wire. “I wouldn’t have done it, first of all, … if I felt uncomfortable. Secondly, it wasn’t a sexual thing. I mean, obviously it’s a sexual thing. But it was like a silhouette, and there’s rain, and it’s a moment where I’m just like, I’m drawn to this man and I just don’t care anymore. Like, if you see me, see me naked, see my vulnerabilities, see my emotions, see my body. … I just want him to see me.”
Of course, the latest “Terminator” movie could also earn an R-rating by having the type of action and explosions we’ve come to expect from this franchise.
It makes you wonder if there will be the theatrical cut of the film and then we’ll see the unrated cut when the film hits DVD and Blu-Ray.
