Glau Visits Set of The Big Bang Theory

Glau Visits Set of The Big Bang Theory

March 3, 2009 By Sam Sloan 2 Comments

Summer Glau, one of the most successful stars of such hugh sci-fi favs as “Firefly,” “The 4400,” and the film “Serenity,” as well as the current Fox series “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” is jumping networks for one night on March 9th and moving to CBS.

Glau will be a guest star on the hit CBS nerd-heaven sitcom “The Big Bang Theory,” which stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar and series irregular Sara Gilbert.

The boys (and Penny) are aboard a train in one of their many-faceted discussions, this one centering on what their chances would be to run into their geeky heart-throb actress Summer Glau, who just happens to be on the same train.

The CBS show has turned into a real ratings czar for the Eye Network (this week’s paint-ball episode garnered the largest ratings to date) starting its Monday night lineup of sitcoms that include “How I Met Your Mother,” “Two in a Half Men” and “Rules of Engagement,” all big hits for CBS.

The March 9th episode of “The Big Bang Theory” with Summer Glau will be titled “The Terminator Decoupling.”
