  • Robert Rodriguez will directed the futuristic thriller “Nerverackers” for Dimension.

  • Cartoon Network will produced 26 episodes of “Marvel Superhero Squad” featuring Captain America, Silver Surfer, Hulk, Wolverine and Iron Man.

    You know the $49, Uwe Boll thing? I don’t think he invented that. I’ve heard of small bands doing the same thing; getting their fans to send in money so they can afford to make an album. I don’t know if it ever really works, but it’s an interesting idea.

    Good show this week.

    Barry: It works all right. I am a Copper Level contributor to Jill Sobule’s upcoming release, California Years. I got my advance copy in the mail the other day, and my Junior Producer t-shirt should be coming shortly thereafter.

    Uwe Boll would make more money if he asked for $50 from people who want to NOT be associated with his next movie.
