Roddenberry.com Gets Facelift

For 2009 our friends over at Roddenberry.com introduce a new, fully redesigned website with new areas and features. If you haven’t done so already, take a look around. Their new site consists of:

  • A new home page highlighting special content that changes almost daily.
  • A redesigned media section featuring Rod’s personal V-cast, and the “Chair Stalkers” viral promotion videos.
  • A brand new community section consisting of DAILY blogs covering Sci-Fi TV, Gaming & Comics, and the new place for your Star Trek gripes in the blog “Plasma Vent.”
  • A dedicated area for you to grab the latest news, press releases and interactive content on Roddenberry Productions.

  • The new and upgraded Roddenberry Shop is their Sci-Fi Shopping center which consists of many new features to make your shopping experience easier, quicker and more informative.

    New additions include:

  • A new shop home page to highlight products and promotions.
  • A one-page checkout system, allowing you to go between various stages of your checkout process.
  • An enhanced product detail page including a product zoom display.
  • Shipping Estimator tool in your shopping cart.
  • View shipping costs during checkout.
  • Checkout with your Roddenberry.com account or as a guest.
  • Your profile now remembers your billing and shipping information for easy checkout.
  • You can now Pay with your PayPal account as well as Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
