Jackson Talks About Fury Negotiations

First the bad news–Samuel L. Jackson wasn’t signed to a contract to play Nick Fury beyond his cameo at the end of “Iron Man.”

Now for a bit of good news.  The actor, who last week said that Marvel may be trying to low-ball an offer to him to reprise his role as Nick Fury in future Marvel Studios productions, told reporters this week that he’s still negotiating to play the part.

“”Contract negotiation. It’s like life. Nick Fury’s negotiating,” he said while promoting a video game based on the tv show, “Afro Samurai.”

Looks like we’ll have to wait and see what happens next and keep our fingers crossed.
