“Chuck”‘s second season of pitch-pefect guest-casting will continue later this season when actor Scott Bakula leaps onto the show.
Bakula has signed on for a three-episode arc, starting in April as Chuck and Ellie’s estranged father.
“Chuck made a promise to his sister, Ellie [Sarah Lancaster], that he was going to find their dad in time for her wedding,” creator Josh Schwartz told TV Guide On-Line. “And it’s something that Chuck becomes consumed with pursuing during the second half of the season.”
