BSG 4.5 Returns Friday, Jan. 16

BSG 4.5 Returns Friday, Jan. 16

January 14, 2009 By Sam Sloan 1 Comment

Fans of SCI FI Channel’s Peabody Award winning hit series “Battlestar Galactica” may have waited a long time for the return of their favorite show but Ron Moore and David Eick plan on not disappointing them when the show returns on Friday, January 16. As an added attraction the producers have put out the word that the first episode of the final 10 will run a bit longer (3 1/2 minutes to be exact) so that those who record the show can set up their DVR or TiVo accordingly. We’re not sure how much more can be packed into 210 additional seconds, but worlds have been saved and lost in less time.

The first episode of 4.5 is titled “Sometimes a Great Notion.” It will pick-up exactly where the final episode of 4.0 left the crew and passengers of the Galactica and fleet — stuck on a disappointing, devastated Earth (or Earth-like) planet.

“Battlestar Galactica” airs at 10/9C.

There was already a rumor that the episodes will be longer, so I adjusted my TIVO accordingly. Can you imagine waiting this long for the new eps only to miss the END!

Yippee! More BSG! Cause for Celebration!
