Matthew Marsden (“Rambo,” “Resident Evil: Extinction”) has signed onto the cast of Michael Bay’s “Transformers 2,” the sequel to the successful first film about robots who transform themselves from a variety of vehicles and other mechanical devices.
Marsden will take on the role of a member of the British Special Forces named Graham who teams with the U.S. military characters played by returning stars Josh Duhamel (“Las Vegas”) and Tyrese Gibson (“Death Race,” “Lucas Cage”) in their continuing battle against the Decepticons.
Marsden joins the growing new castmembers that include Rain Wilson (“The Office”). He can be seen soon in the adventure film “The Lost Gold of Khan.”
Also returning are leads Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.
Look for it in theaters beginning June 26, 2009.
