Over at io9 they have the first set of images showing the concept art for what Bruce Willis and the cast of “The Surrogates” will be wearing in this strange, but interesting film about a futuristic society in which very few venture out of doors.
All interaction is done through “surrogate” robot bodies. The film’s protagonist (Willis) is a cop who, through his surrogate, investigates the murders of others’ surrogates. The cop is forced to venture from his own home without the use of his alter-robo-ego for the first time in years to unravel a conspiracy.
Here is just one small example of the cool robo-gear in store for moviegoers to enjoy.
Based on the graphic novel “The Surrogates” from Top Shelf Comix, stars Bruce Willis, Ving Rhames, Radha Mitchell, Rosamund Pike, Ned Vaughn and Jack Noseworthy. Look for it in theaters on November 20, 2009.
