The United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.) will be getting its very first theme park based soley on a very popular Middle Eastern animated television show.
“Freej” is the first 3-D animated hit show coming out of the Middle East and Lamtara Pictures has been given permission by the U.A.E. to develop and build the four million square foot theme park in Dubailand as part of that country’s three billion square foot area designed to be the premiere tourist destination of the Middle East.
The whole concept comes from the U.A.E.-based real estate company Tatweer and world famous Dubai Shiek Mohammed.
The Shiek has also been getting interest and deals from U.S. studios such as Paramount, Universal, Marvel and Dreamworks Animation, to build their own theme parks in Dubailand.
