Free Comic Book Day, Saturday May 3rd, 2008, is the single day, once a year, when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free to anyone who comes into their stores.
Of importance to Harry Dresden fans is the news that the Dabel Brothers will make their Free Comic Book Day debut with an exciting issue that will offer up exclusive previews of Jim Butcher’s “The Dresden Files: Welcome to the Jungle.”
Some of the other offerings on tap for those who happen to walk through the store doors on that day are George R. R. Martin’s “Wild Cards: The Hard Call,” and Dean Koontz’s “Frankenstein: Prodigal Son,” as well as some never-before-seen artwork and a preview of Del Rey Manga’s upcoming graphic novel, “In Odd We Trust” by Dean Koontz and Queenie Chan.
