Slice of SciFi “The Legend of the Black Scorpion” DVD Contest

13195_legend_black_scorpion_box_art_3d.JPGBeginning today, Saturday, February 23, 2008 and running until midnight March 22, 2008, Slice of SciFi is giving away a DVD copy of “The Legend of the Black Scorpion” to one lucky winner.

This DVD hits store shelves on Tuesday, February 26 but one of our fans can win a copy FREE!

“The Legend of the Black Scorpion” is Hong Kong’s 2006 Academy Award entry for Best Foreign Language Film, and is set in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period of 10th Century China, featuring elaborate period costumes and sets. “Legend of the Black Scorpion” features intricate fight scenes from Jingwu Ma (“Seven Swords”) and Yuen Woo-Ping (fight choreographer for the Matrix and Kill Bill films). Director Feng Xiaogang deals with themes of revenge and fate throughout this epic story framed with the beautiful, yet morose musical score from Academy Award winning composer Tan Dun.

To enter the contest you must send an email and put “Black Scorpion” in the subject line. Be sure to include your shipping address in the body of the email. This giveaway is open to all our fans from around the world.
