“Jumper” Premieres Today

February 15, 2008 By S. K. Sloan 2 Comments

Just a reminder that our good friend and past guest on Slice of SciFi, Samuel L. Jackson, will be appearing in the new Hayden Christensen SF film Jumper, beginning in wide release today, Friday, February 15.

Sam really kicks butt in this movie and does some “sword” work similar to Mace Windu in “Star Wars.” It will be a real treat for fans to see him perform stunts and work that special weapon.

You can follow Sam on Twitter to learn all about the man, his career and what is in store for him movie-wise in the future.

For now, check out these two “Jumper” trailers:

A brief warning: I didn’t think much of it.

Don’t waste your money on this POS. The only thing I can glean from this “movie” is that possibly it was originally intended to be a TV series pilot but for some reason producers decided to graft all its pieces together and pump it out as a movie. No script, zero acting – the only redeeming feature was Samuel L. Jackson and I’m sure he’s wondering how he let his agent talk him into it.

Apart from that have a nice day 🙂
