Save Journeyman Newsletter

January 28, 2008 By S. K. Sloan 1 Comment

If you don’t yet subscribe to the brand new Journeyman Newsletter then, as a fan of the NBC dumped series, you aren’t getting the whole picture about the campaign to save the show, the impact the program is making on people’s lives and it’s current rise in the Hey Nielsen ratings.

Here is just a sample of what can be found in the Journeyman Newsletter:

Save Journeyman Newsletter 1/28/08

nup_111024_0027.jpgWelcome to the first Save Journeyman Newsletter – a big welcome to all the new members. If you haven’t stopped by in awhile, we’ve opened some discussion forums so that every Journeyman fan can discuss the campaign, leave campaign suggestions and post the most recent campaign information. There are also Journeyman games and places to discuss each episode.

News: Check out the new Kevin Falls podcast available on Slice of SciFi’s site and on XM Radio, The Sonic Channel 163 starting 1/28. Falls talks about the impact of sending items into the network and about making big campaign gestures to get PR. What’s your best idea to kick the campaign up a notch? Post your best ideas at SaveJourneyman.net. Note, you’ll have to log in to fully see this poll/thread.

More Campaign News – Our fourth streaming event. We’re streaming Episode # 4, “The Year of the Rabbit” on Monday 1/28/08 at 10 PM EST & PST on NBC. Be sure to click on the ads while you stream and post advertiser contact info in this thread so we can let the advertisers know we watched. Also send the execs a quick email that you watched. For complete streaming details go to the forums.

Journeyman’s Nielson Rise: If you haven’t heard yet, Nielson has an online community where fans can let Nielson know which shows they’re watching. Over a hundred more viewers voted in the Journeyman poll on Hey! Nielson this past week alone – Poll results show that 89% watch Journeyman regularly. We’re currently at #2 in the rankings but we’re going to shoot for # 1 on Monday 1/28. Frank, DCR3000, Kevin and many, many others have been working diligently to up our ratings on this Nielson site. Hey! Nielson is owned by the Nielson’s Ratings Company, so this is Journeyman fans chance to really count on Nielson. Visit the Nielson site on Monday to help us get to #1!! See more about what our members have been planning for Hey! Nielson.

Look for Upcoming News on the blog about a Big Rice-a-Roni Day this February. In February, we’re going to show the love for Journeyman to the networks.

To sign up for future newsletters, register at the Save Journeyman Forums. And, don’t forget tonight’s (Mon. Jan 28) big Journeyman Streaming Event for the next online episode 10/9C.

I’ve got to *register* on the Save Journeyman Forums to get the newsletter??

Sorry, no thanks .. as much as I love Journeyman and want to see it come back .. I am not going to register on a forum just to get a newsletter.

I’ve got more than enough user names and passwords to remember now without adding more.
