I’ve seen Bloodrayne I and In The Name of The King, and while I’ve heard both of them slammed, I really enjoyed Bloodrayne and found ITNOTK to be enjoyable at least. I don’t know what all the negative emotion is about.
I don’t understand your poll. Usually they’re pretty good.
Uwe Boll hasn’t even made a movie called Zombiegeddon yet. How can it be rated?
Also, the movie THEY WAIT, is NOT a Uwe Boll film! Ernie Barbarash (CUBE ZERO) directed it and somebody else wrote it. Uwe Boll is only listed as one of a few different executive producers. And it hasn’t even been released yet, so … how can people vote for it on a Uwe Boll poll? Here’s the website for the upcoming movie THEY WAIT. http://www.theywait.com/
And there’s a trailer on YoutTube.
Does this look like a Uwe Boll movie? No. Because it’s not.
Balvenie: The poll covers not only the movies that Uwe has directed but also some of those he appeared in as an actor. He was an actor in mostly horror films before he turned to directing & producing. He acted in the film “They Wait” (2008) and “Zombiegeddon” (2003). He did a bit part in “They Wait” and also served as executive producer for that film.
I have to admit that I made an assumption that Boll fans may have seen the lengthy trailer that came out for “They Wait.” And, let’s face it, a trailer for a Boll film generally are the best parts of that film, so if you’ve seen that, then you’ve gotten your popcorn’s worth. I also assumed that the only people who would probably respond to the poll were avid Boll fans and the low numbers holds that out to be true at this point.
Like Hitchcock, Uwe has also been known to do cameos or bit roles in the films he directs and/or produces. Sometime you have to look hard to find him because he is usually in heavy makeup, especially for his horror and period piece films.
Boll also has done the screenplay and will direct the brain-eater called “Zombie Massacre” due out sometime in 2010.
Keep your hope alive, the next poll will be better. ๐ We appreciate the comments — so keep listening, keep visiting the site and keep your thoughts coming.

Where’s the ‘none of the above’ option? I’ve not seen any of those, and based on past things have no real desire too ๐

I can’t pick anything. lol. There is nothing that isn’t dreadful on that list and can’t bring myself to declare one “best”.

How about the best of the dreadful? ๐

None of the above…

The reason it seems like the votes are so low is because the wasn’t an option for “I’ve hated what I’ve seen so much I’ve avoided the rest”
