This weekend’s box office winners changed little from last weekend. “National Treasure: Book of Secrets” continued its hold on the top spot with Will Smith’s “I Am Legend” moving to the third slot. The surprise has to be “Alvin and the Chipmunks” which looks to be in second after a 3-week total of nearly $143 million. “Legend” is still the record holder with its 3-week total amounting to almost $195 million.
It looks like the Tom Hank’s film “Charlie Wilson’s War” is fourth and “Juno” climbs back into the top 5 after being in theaters for a month.
