A concept teaser for the award-winning feature length screenplay “Donovan’s Echo” has been released online. Awarded Bronze in the 2007 PAGE International Screenwriting Awards in Hollywood, “Donovan’s Echo” was co-written by Jim Cliffe director of the San Diego Comic-Con award-winning short film “Tomorrow’s Memoir.”
Written with Cliffe’s writing partner, Melodie Krieger, “Donovan’s Echo” is a story about a man who struggles to understand why a bizarre series of events are repeating on the 45th anniversary of his personal tragedy. As the week draws to a close, Donovan risks everything in an attempt to prevent tragedy from striking twice — only to encounter an unusual twist that he had subconsciously known all along.
In addition to the 2007 PAGE awards, “Donovan’s Echo” also placed as a quarter-finalist in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 2007 Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting.
