This may be just rumor, because I can’t believe NBC is about to cancel their best new show this season, and one of the most intriguing shows on the air.
From Zap2It Blogs:
We’re hearing that the next two weeks are crucial for NBC’s Journeyman. While nothing official has been decided, the rumor is that if the Nielsen numbers don’t rise for the Nov. 19 and 26 episodes, the network will yank the show, without airing all the episodes produced.
The network is only interested in the live Nielsens, not DVR viewers or downloads, says a show staffer. This is a problem for the show, because the majority of emails the show gets is from fans who watch online. Since ads touting the ability to watch Journeyman for free online are common, that’s hardly surprising.
Looks like it’s time to write more letters.

This would be a shame, the show started a little slow but has really picked up this last few weeks to the point where I am looking forward to the next episode each week.
Of the 2 shows of the new season that I watched journeyman started slow and picked up but Bionic Woman started quite well but these last few weeks have just been horrible.
Heroes was going slow as well for a few weeks but the last 3 episodes have been amazing.
DVR/Online vs live Nielsen’s rant, yada yada yada
Now that that is out of the way, it would be a shame if they canceled the show. Monday nights on NBC is the one night where my family watches all the shows in a row with only a slight time delay. NBC shows this year have all been impressive, (in my opinion), and I watch that network more than any other this season. With the writers strike I would think they would want to keep something on that was new rather than fall back on reruns of something else.
At least let it run out the season (or however many finished episodes they have).
I don’t watch Journeyman, but the networks really need to include those DVR & download numbers when they determine if a show should stay on the air. They are just shooting themselves in the foot if they don’t.
Journeyman is my favorite of NBC’s Monday night block. I love Chuck and Heroes, but Journeyman is the one show that consistently delivers solid stories, intelligent characters and just plain logic of execution each week. Just when you think you’ve figured out any one of the characters, a new detail pops up that forces you to re-think your feelings about that character. What initially looked to be a poor man’s Quantum Leap has become something completely different: a relationship-based drama within a sci-fi concept. Can’t USA pick this up if NBC drops it and put it with the 4400 and Dead Zone? Please?
Don’t forget Sci-Fi Channel, Bill. Since NBC & Sci-Fi are owned by the same company maybe they could move it there.
If NBC does cancel this show, it will be the biggest, most stupid move since Fox canceled Firefly.
Journeyman is one of the best shows on television. What happened to giving a show a chance, especially in this climate of constantly divided and sub-divided viewership with its inherently lower viewership (unless we’re talking “Dancing with the Stars”?) NBC should be happy they’ve got such a great show on their hands and should stay committed to it and work to build its audience. NBC: don’t be crazy – give the damn thing a chance!
what happens if we just have our boxes tune into Journeyman while it airs? does that count towards the Nielsen ratings?
rather than complain how flawed the point system is, how about just learning the loopholes and using them in our favor? If abuse occurs to the current system then they’ll be forced to re-think how it’s done.
This is the best new show on TV. No wonder NBC is a joke. This reminds me of CBS’ decision to cancel Jericho, then bring it back, only to leave fans in suspense as to when they will be airing it.
I totally forgot about Sci-Fi. That would be another great location for it. However, I’m starting to get that sinking feeling I had for Firefly and American Gothic. Shows that are so good, that create their own universe, a universe we want to visit over and over again. It seems that shows like these are ahead of their time, thriving on DVD releases while they had little network support in original prime-time. If Journeyman gets dropped, then it’s another show ahead of its time, and given the theme of the show, “ahead of its time” is probably a fitting epitaph.
NBC, USA, and SciFi Channel have cross-pollinated shows before. I’ve seen episodes of Monk, Psych and I think The Dead Zone air on NBC weekends, and new Law & Order:CI episodes are running exclusively on USA now.
I could see Journeyman on USA Network, too.
As for the Nielsen ratings, it doesn’t count unless you’re a home selected to count in the ratings. I wish they had more than 1% of the population counted… I bet they’d paint a very different picture of what’s being watched.
And I was one of those who loved American Gothic, back in the day, too.
How is it that we’re in 2007 and still counting Nielsen ratings? There should really be a system for the internet by now. I’d figure NBC could check their web site records and see just how many people are watching this show. But like the article said, they don’t care about website ratings. Why? Is it because there aren’t as many commercials so their sponsors aren’t getting enough face time? Then put all the commercials on the internet!!! Yeah, it would be a little annoying for us viewers, but it’s better than dropping a show that people are most certainly watching.
So… a show about shifting through time is mostly watched by people who watch it time-shifted. Interesting.
I absolutely love this show, but I never watch live TV anymore. I usually watch it within 2 hours of airing. Occasionally I watch the commercials if they are interesting. I guess I’ll be watching it live next Monday.
More bad news concerning Journeyman. There is a two parter consisting of eps 11 and 12. Apparently, according to Kevin Falls, Journeyman’s creator, the 12th episode may not air. Here are the two links, one from aintitcool.com and the other from the original interview.
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/34883
The full interview is at this link, but I think everything we “don’t” want to know is at the first link.
http://www.premiumhollywood.com/2007/11/23/a-chat-with-kevin-falls-producer-of-journeyman/
It’s Sunday morning and I just watched this past Monday’s Journeyman.
I time shift because of my work schedule. When you have to be out of the house by 5am to do a 1 hour commute and a 10 hour workday, you’re not trying to stay up and watch a show that ends at 11pm! (And I don’t want to see Journeyman on TV at an earlier “safe” timeslot for little kids and families, either.)
It’s hard enough when I stay up (against my will) and watch Heroes!
Don’t the networks know what’s going on in The Real World?
NBC needs to get a clue.
I mean, couldn’t they just shoot Journeyman over to Sci-Fi and make it an “original series”? And while they’re at it, CANCEL FLASH GORDON, instead??
Damn.
A NBC. Network of Beuracratic C***s. They start cancelling shows like this they’re going to vanish in the next 10 years or so. Time to update the model folks…
And yeah, I think you guys should throw your weight behind this show rather than Dresden. Easier to do CPR than raise the dead…
Oh and the REALLY stupid part of this. They have finished episodes they might not air. Last I checked there was still a strike on, which means a diminishing amount of new scripted TV to air. Spending the money then not getting what you paid for, especially now, has never made sense to me…
Nielson Ratings are a JOKE!!! I will admit I didn’t start watching Journeyman right away until my DVR messed up and didn’t record an episode of Heros. When I finished watching it online I decided to check out Journeyman and loved it!
This is just dumb. I can’t believe I had more patience, as a viewer, with Journeyman than the stupid network that owns it does! I DVR chuck, heroes and journeyman. Thats the only reason why they got me. Plus I couldn’t even just turn on my tv and let it air despite that I’m not directly watching it b/c I think this is a more adult show that I’m not discussing with my 7 yr old. So the DVR is a haven for me to be able to watch what I want when I want to. I was just getting into Journeyman!!!! They always do this to halfway decent shows. They should let viewers do voting. We should be able to vote!!!
This is horrible! i love journey man it is one of my favorite shows on NBC. I do watch it online most of the time do to lack of free time. PLEASE BRING THIS SHOW BACK!!!
I am hooked on Journeyman and look forward to every new episode. I was disappointed when I saw that it was not scheduled for Dec 3… Dumb to cancel this show!
Neilson ratings are a joke yes I totally agree.. … I am betting the Neilson ratings are the only ones that matter because viewers watching the live show guarantees there sponsors airtime. DVR and TIVo allow you to fast foward through the comercials.. “Executives thoughts might be.. if they don’t watch it when its on.. They don’t get to keep the show.” This is the only reason I can think of them leaning on Neilson Ratings.. Why not become a Nielson Ratings family? Save your favorite shows from extiction.. Alf (Gordon Shumway) did it for Polka Party! –yes I did reference a cheesy comedy show from awhile back.
Please bring the show back this is rediculous. Journeyman is probably one of the best show series of all time that I have viewed.
That really sucks ass that NBC would cut Journeyman out so freakin soon.It was and is getting really exciting to watch. My family and I look forward in watching this show every Monday.NBC sucks ass!!!!!!!!I’m goin back to satillite………….Tone Loc
if nbc wants to be morons then let them, but as consumers, we are still in control.. i say we watch everything online or d/l everything, as internet consumers, we should have a count in the rating system too!!! from today on.. i’m not even going to accidentally flip to nbc while channel surfing!! in fact.. imma block it from my tv
My favorite is monday night, I watch Heroes, & Journeyman. I missed last weeks Journeyman, so I tried to watch in online its not there & I watched heros online. Then this week I missed them again. So I check & now neither one is online…
Does it have to do with writer strike or has it Journeyman been pulled.
I have an idea. If they are gonna pull it from the airways why not leave it to show online. Then I can watch it there. Then neilson ratings be whatever since I dont watch nbc that much anyways except mondays. I work nights thurs, friday, saturday, & sunday.
Guess I go back to playing games online.
World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings (which I had let expire in the last year) or some better game to come online to fill in my tv watching gap again.
Since the writers strike will effect tv viewing for the next year I have heard.
WTF? How can a show like Bionic Woman be allowed to persist and a great show like Journeyman is given notice? I think NBC executives are brain dead. Here are the facts there is nothing to watch on television. The ratings are low because the audience is disoriented. In the beginning of all si-fi shows the audience needs nearly a full seasons to acclimate. Think of the success of the TNG or DS9 it was not next day in fact TNG took 3 season before the Kirk fans could acclimate to Picard. If Journeyman makes one more seasons you will see all of the Quantum leap fans embrace the new journey. Unfortunately the unimaginative brass at NBC are focused on there bell curve and rating numbers. This is why they cannot see the bright future ahead.
This sucks! Journeyman is a great show! Dump one of the countless stupid reality shows that are on. People are going to get sick of those pretty quick because of the writer’s strike. Once the strike is over, they’ll be looking for something good to watch. Or, as has been suggested by others, give it another chance on Sci-Fi channel. Sci-Fi has a few good shows (Stargate Atlantis, Eureka), why not give it another?
well, it is now Dec. 13 and it was still on this week. Didn’t it say that if those 2 episodes at the end of Nov. didn’t do “well” that they wouldn’t air the rest? I watched it Monday night and I didn’t hear anything. I will be extremely upset if it does get canceled. This is the only show ever that my husband actually wants to sit down and watch with me. And along with Chuck and Life, is my favorite show ever. They really are morons if they cancel this show and will lose a LOT of loyal fans.
I just wanted to echo the sentiments of everyone else. Journeyman is an excellent show! Way better than Bionic Woman! I usually watched the episodes live, but caught a few the next day on the internet. This is an interesting twist on time travel, with developing subplots that I really look (looked) forward to being brought to fruition. Send Journeyman over to Sci-fi or USA Network if you don’t want to air good television on your flagship station, NBC!
I truly hope that Journeyman will continue on USA or Sci-Fi. This show was just starting to get interesting. Quantum Leap had a much rougher first season and it lasted for years.
Journeyman is intelligent in ways that Heros or the Bionic Women wishes it was. This would be a huge shame!
NBC is always dumb cancelling great shows. They did it with Quantum Leap. Joureny man is a lot like that show and they want to cancel it? Why. It the best show on Monday night.
Journeyman and Day Break. Moon Bloodgood has an amazing knack for picking brilliant sci-fi shows that tragically die out. I caught Journeyman’s premiere after Heroes and it eventually turned into the reason I watched TV on Monday night. Heroes was watchable. Journeyman MADE Mondays. This is such crap. 🙁
Back in the late ’90’s UPN pulled a cool show called “Nowhereman”, last year (or two) ABC pulled “Invasion” and “Daybreak”. Here we go again with another cool show, Journeyman about to head in that direction this time from NBC. Journeyman is a great show, its just getting better as the weeks go on. I don’t have time to look at alot of network television, there are only a few shows I like to follow, Journeyman is definitely one of the top shows on my short list, It would be a shame if they pull it, give this show a chance to grow and spread it’s wings.
This was a great show with great story lines and great characters. Too bad the writers’ strike doomed it. What about shifting it to SCI-FI?
Please Do Not Cancell Journeyman. It’s better than most of the reality crap that I refuse to watch.
I just checked the NBC website and found out. I am outraged. Who do you write to in order to voice your opinion? This is just a piece of crap. I love this show.
Teresa — Go to this link to get all the details about the Save Journeyman campaign actively going on right now.
http://www.sliceofscifi.com/2007/12/14/save-journeyman-campaign/
I say we don’t watch the channel nbc until they bring back journeyman this was a show I waited to watch on tv at night after heroes, and I was glad that they put on a show that kept you wanting more each week and getting to know the characters and to start feeling for them. We should as a group boycott NBC and let them know we will not watch their channel online, or cable until they bring it back on.
I have been watching this show FROM EPISODE 1. I love this show and everytime an episode gets over I want to see the next episode RIGHT away!!! Pretty much if they cancel Journeyman , I cancel watching the WHOLE network of NBC. Journeyman ALL THE WAY! This show is the BEST.
glad i have it set to record to DVR(even though reading this it makes me feel dirty but honestly who stays up for to 11PM these days) it was on tonight at ten probably a last gasp to generate the Nielsen viewers. I just heard they were pulling it. I’ve never been this upset since Firefly, Kevin McKidd is fantastic, he is better in Rome on HBO, but fantastic none the less. By the way why did people get so upset over Jericho i watched Jericho it looked interesting it was pretty cheesy with alot of Lost overtones.
Does anybody remember the X-Files, that show was hideous ratings wise for most of season 1 and Fox was this close to pulling it but they hung in with it and its the Sci-Fi TV show of the 90s.
The new show for the 2008 season? Who Are You Again looking for love with Kieth Richards. 😛
On a good note. The last episode was fantastic, and felt like a ending, without being an ending. Dan on behalf of all of us I’d like to say… I’ll always leave a light on.
This is to the NBC executives. I know you or one of your interns are reading this. What do FORD and NBC have in common. The leadership sucks! Ford made a huge mistake by messing with the Taurus not once.. But twice! In fact they discontinued it for a year. And they only have one vehicle that is a hibred. And what’s the stock price?
The point is that many shows didn’t do very well in the first few seasons but ended up lasting 8,9,10 seasons. Let’s recount. X-files, Cheers, Fraiser, Stargate, Star Trek: The next generation, The Nanny! Oh yeah and a little show called Law an Order didn’t do well for the first season. How long has that show been on? How many spin offs. And lets not forget about the Cosby show. Oh, and one really big one called Seinfeld!!!
Journeyman would go nicely right next to The 4400. Or on fridays with Stargate.
NOTE TO TV EXECUTIVES. If you want to get NBC out of last place then you need to give Sci-Fi shows a chance. At least one season. Move the time slot around a little it will find it’s place. The only way to get people away from the Xbox games and back on to networdk is to appeal to the audience. A lot of them like Sci-fi. But Sci-fi is a unique species. It take a lot longer for audiences to hook on. And you have to play with the times a little. Please reference Stargate SG-1. You need a more diverse menu for audiences like Journeyman, Bionic Woman, Life, Chuck, Law and Order, Earl. Do you just want to be known as the comedy and Reality TV channel. No.. why would you limit yourself to a smaller audience unless it’s a specialty station life Sci-fi or the cartoon network.
You have a few options. Move it to Sci-fi or USA. You can switch the time slot to Fridays after Las Vegas. Have it as a summer show. Or have a Journeyman, Bionic Women, Hero’s night. Like you used to do with Thursday night Must See TV but for action and sci-fi. And stop making the fans do your Job. It’s sad.. How much do you earn a year and you have to get management advice from us. Shame on you. Just do the right thing and save the show once the stike is over and we will let it slide this time.
Perfidia. A fitting song for the last program in the series. I hope that the powers-that-be at NBC and its networks see fit to renew the program for the Sci-Fi channel. If not them, perhaps BBC America might give it a go. I think it would prove to be a hit on the scale of Torchwood and Doctor Who.
this show has been amazingly interesting from the beginning and is the reason I turn on the TV on mondays.
Journeyman is the ONLY show that I’ve ever started watching late … then found all the back episodes and caught up. It ended up being so interesting that it was the only show I looked forward to. This better come back, there is nothing else to watch at this point.
This is currently the best show on television. I just heard it was cancelled by NBC. Can’t people who actually use their brain have just one show that we can watch without it being cancelled and then given some reality show or game show in it’s place. For the intellectually starved, we have very little to watch. Are people just so dumbed down by watching the mindless drivel that passes for “entertainment” on television that a well scripted, well cast show with a plot that actually makes you think, can’t make it for more than one season if it runs that long. Firefly all over again. All that is left is to hope someone with some vision latches on to this show and brings it back. I won’t hold my breath…
Journeyman is the only show I go out of my way to sit down and watch. Put it on Sci fi or usa. Firefly all over again.
It’s amazing that crap like Bionic Woman can get renewed but a show with some substance like Journeyman cannot. Dump one of those cappy Law and Order shows and put the money toward Journeyman. Someone at NBC needs a swift kick in the pants.
This is really disappointing and I can’t believe that no one at nbc see’s the potential with journeyman. It really upsets me that we will not get to see how the rest of the story was to play out.
RICE A RONI FOR JOURNEYMAN! Here’s the deal…I recently read, that if fans want to bring Journeyman back, to send Rice A Roni to the NBC office, just like they sent peanuts to the CBS office for Jericho. As I watched the last episode last night, I was saddened, because this was a great show! We don’t have time to watch real time TV and always DVR’d it… I think if there was some way to track that, they would see what a great response it was getting. Obviously we all liked it…. Anyone else agree to send Rice A Roni???
I can NOT believe that NBC is cancelling Journeyman… what are they thinking What is wrong with that network.. no wonder cable is eating their lunch… remember that other show they tried to cancel let’s see i think it was STAR TREK
“When Star Trek debuted on NBC in 1966, it was not an immediate hit; ratings were low and advertising revenue was lackluster. Even prior to the end of the first season of Star Trek, there were already calls in the network for the cancellation of the series due to its low Nielsen ratings.[2] During the show’s second season, the threat of cancellation loomed.[3] The show’s devoted fanbase conducted an unprecedented letter-writing campaign, petitioning NBC to keep the show on the air.[4] Its fans succeeded in gaining a third season; however, NBC subsequently moved the show to the Friday Night Death Slot at 10 PM.[5] Gene Roddenberry resigned as line producer of Star Trek before the start of the final season to protest the changed timeslot, and was replaced by Fred Freiberger. NBC then substantially reduced Star Trek’s budget which brought about a marked decline in the quality of many season three episodes.[6] Nichelle Nichols observes that as a result of NBC’s actions, “you saw fewer outdoor location shots, for example [in season 3]. Top writers, top guest stars, top anything you needed was harder to come by. Thus, Star Trek’s demise became a self-fulfilling prophecy. And I can assure you, that is exactly as it was meant to be.”[7]
This is ridiculous! i love this show! I think I’ll switch networks also!!!!
This is the one show that isn’t filled with filth and I can watch with my family!
smart shows don’t last. Ever since Max Headroom was cancelled, it is clear that the mass of TV is aimed slightly below the masses. We too bemoan the loss of a fun show.
The networks are going to lose big. No new stuff, and the whole world has cable/satellite, DVD players, so we’ll all work around. We learn to watch TV on our schedule (this one’s a huge deal for we old folks…you young’uns have always been able to time shift) even more.
Now, if the HD dvd vs. Bluray nonsense would solve itself there’s be one great opportunity for all of us with HD sets and no programming to watch HD, but as the DVD cartel can’t agree on anything, no HD
Of course Journeyman got cancelled. You need more space for the Battle of the Nanny Network Stars Survivor Who Wants to Be a Star marathon. I HATE REALITY TV (except COPS)
I love this show. I look forward to it every week. If they cancel it I will be disappointed.
I normally DVR all my shows, but this was the only show I actually ran home to watch. I can’t believe they are cancelling it. Major bummer.
I just watched the Perfidia episode with my wife and we’re so hooked on the writing, plots and characters. NBC can’t cancel a show like this. It was far better than “Heroes” this fall and “Chuck” isn’t even in the same league. If “Chuck” is getting better Nielsen ratings than Journeyman than our culture is doomed.
You know what the problem with Journeyman is? It’s decent. It’s family-friendly, it focuses on helping people and it doesn’t feel the need to utilize every curse word allowed on prime time tv. And so, like so often occurs, the networks don’t care that the average person actually likes it.
Ithink one of the reasons Bionic Woman did not get cancelled and Journeyman did is BW is produced by NBC/Universal & Journeyman is produced by FOX. Perhaps fans of Journeyman should write letters to Fox & have Fox put Journeyman on.
It’s the ONLY good show NBC has so I hope it sticks around.
Journeyman is the one show my entire family watches together. It’s a smart show that makes you think, that’s the problem! Americans can’t think anymore! If it’s not Tila Tequila or Fat drunk Celebrities or Kim Kardashian America can’t handle it. Have a show that’s not college girls making out and it’s too cerebral for the viewing public. NBC, your news programs are in the tank and now your canceling the good shows. You guys are total and complete morons. It’s just pathetic that when a really good show comes along, it gets canceled while the crap continues to flow from the idiot box. If I sound pissed, I am !
We love this show. It is extremely interesting. I am about to give up on all network tv. They seem to cancel shows do to numbers that do not actual accurately represent the shows viewership. If the lack of adaptation to the way viewers watch tv ie. DVR and Online then the majors are going to lose out in the end the cusumer will find other sources for there enertainment.
Bring back Journeyman.
That’s just great, un-f***ing-believable. Chalk another of my favorite shows up to premature cancellation.
I love the Sci-Fi genre, and this show had damn good appeal to the folks that aren’t normally into Sci-Fi.
I was afraid to watch Heroes b/c I thought the studio execs would probably cancel it. I finally gave in and watched the first season after it came out on DVD and was set for a second season.
So now my ever expanding list of favorite cancelled shows now consists of:
Farscape
Enterprise
Dead Like Me
Crossing Jordan (what can I say, I like Jill Hennessey)
Battlestar Galactica (trimmed down to the 4th season)
Journeyman
Except for Dead Like Me, each one is an NBC (or affiliate) -produced show.
NBC completely sucks ass. Ditch Bionic Woman before you dump this show. That show started out great, and has since gone down the tubes since, I don’t even bother DVRing it anymore.
On the subject of DVRs. It’s a fact NBC, when people have a choice of watching a show when they want w/o commercials vs. when you want… well, you’re gonna lose out…
WELCOME TO THE 21st CENTURY, with such modern conveniences as DVR, DVD, TiVo and iTunes.
NBC needs an executive management enema.
This show was the best show in years. Monday finally was a night I had reason to turn on the TV.
The possible plots for future shows could have been endless. The acting was incredible that there were many times we would forget this was even a SciFi series. There is so much garbage on TV that should have been pulled before this show. Also unlike every on during the evenings, I actually felt comfortable having my children watch this one.
I seriously hope that Journeyman could follow up in a movie or another network like SciFi or USA. I won’t hold my breath though.
Journeyman makes my night! Its a very well acted and written show, it would be a shame to cancel it. I hope that if Journeyman is canceled then I will be following this show were ever it may go!!! And if it gets canceled I refuses to watch any New shows for NBC.
I just watched the last Jouneyman show (on my DVR) and it was painful to think it’s the end. The gradual increase in the quality of the plot, depth of character, top talent actors and respect for the intelligence of the audience was glaring. Unfortunately
the networks (especially the NBC suits) have chosen with there latest decision to reach again for the lowest common denominator of viewers in the American audience by cancelling a gem. How do you ever think you’ll compete with cable drama. I hope HBO or Showtime can pick it up. I truly will miss the quality bye bye NBC keep it for the low lifes and your money.
Laura has a good idea, boycott any new NBC shows, just in case you’re hooked on 30 Rock. But don’t give any other’s a chance. Hopefully networks will get the message and start to respect intelligence and quality.

SAVE JOURNEYMAN! SAVE JOURNEYMAN!
My wife and I found the show far and away above average with strong potential for growth. In fact, the last three episodes were quite good and had us looking foward ‘in time to future’ shows. Killing this show after just too few episodes is more irrational than the show’s flawed but likable premise. Sometimes intelligent television, like genius must be cultivated, nurtured, and even pampered. Neither Albert Einstein nor Richard Feynman could speak a word until each was almost three years old. Shame on NBC for cancelling a show with so much while TV viewers thirt for more innovative drama.
M. Levine, MA
This is ridiculous! Good point someone made in a post above – you mean Bionic Woman is staying and Journeyman is poised to get the axe? Dumb, Dumb, Dumb. So many dumb, teenager targeted shows out there – it was refreshing to have an intelligent, expertly crafted series – considering banning NBC for this absurd move. I guess that is the result of using stone-age media measurement in the world of online viewing, DVR and etc. Catch up NBC. Kudos to the whole cast, crew, writers etc for such a great series.
Agree with the above poster. Canceling this series stinks. Remember Fox axing Family Guy? Did NBC not learn from that lesson?
I absolutely love this show…Heroes and Journeyman are the only good shows worth watching..
Please bring back JOurneyman.
Journeyman was one of the best shows on the air. All the moronic shows like “Cashmere Mafia” will get a following and yet this wonderful show doesn’t make it! What does it say about the intelligence of TV viewers?
http://www.savejourneyman.net
Save the show! Journeyman is the best show on and nbc needs to keep it. enough said.
Wow…you all are right. NBC, who or what is telling you that people are not into this show? It is one of those shows we all love cause we are not plaster with all the pulicity that some shows overdo…At 10 your looking at the working class people waiting for the news then off to bed. I have many friends and people in this boat who love Journeyman, it makes me never want to watch a new show again. Journeyman is way better a show the CHUCK, and I am a Chuck fan… If they were to move Heros to 10 i would stop watching it. I am sick of this lossing a great tv show when there are 6 that suck on the same network..
NBC has done a number of stupid things in the last few years. But by far, getting rid of Journeyman is one of the worst decisions that has been made yet.
Last year it was The Black Donneley’s (might be spelled wrong), Passions was cancelled and replaced with some joke of a show called Crosswords, and now this!!!
Let’s talk about the Neilsen Ratings. Most people that have the time to sit around and report on what it is they are watching, are most likely older people that have nothing better to do. I can see why most older people may not have been fan’s of the show.
But to NBC: Your fan base is the average american that most likely doesn’t have time to sit around and worry about being a Neilsen Family. Sorry if this is news to you. But you have hundreds of thousands of people that enjoy Journeyman. It should stay on the air!
what is up with t.v. You find a show you can sit down and enjoy, then they pull it. This sucks. There are so many stupid shows on, but they want to take off a show like Journeyman. I for one am sick of game shows, reality shows, and shows where the people are just stupid. why are they trying to dumb us down? Keep Journeyman on!!!! I really hope this works. It did for Jercio.
Sad Fact: The majority of television viewers watch WWE, Nascar, and Reality TV. Mob rules. Outvoted by ad revenue.
I don’t understand how they can keep these ridiculous shows on but take away these great shows like Heroes and JOURNEYMAN!!! My husband and I look forward to them every week and now their taking them away.. I’m VERY upset!! BRING JOURNEYMAN BACK!!!!
There aren’t many shows worth watching on TV these days, but Journeyman is definately one. I hope NBC reconsiders bringing it back. Great acting and an interesting storyline make it worth tuning into each week. So many folks watch online and digitally record, I’m sure the ratings they go by would probably triple if they took those into consideration. It would be one of the many great shows that have fallen by the wayside. Pretty soon, I may just end up giving away my TV…
I agree. Journeyman became one of my favorite new shows to watch. I haven’t seen it in a while and just figured the writers strike slowed down the progress of everything. I’m sad to see that it is cancelled.
i think that its stupid to stop showing the best show on nbc the others stink
