Yesterday, before the close of box office, it looked as if the horror/vampire flick “30 Days of Night” would stay in the top five, but in a last minute push, Dewayne “The Rock” Johnson’s “The Game Plan” edged ahead securing the fifth place in the top ten.

Hehe… Martian Child isn’t sci-fi. It’s a romantic drama about a man (Cusak) adopting a troubled boy.
Yes, yes yes, we know that, but because of the child’s belief that he is from the planet Mars, the show gets the bold font. We even talked about this one on a previous Slice show stating that from the strictist definition, it isn’t genre, but was such a heart-warming story that we didn’t want to cheat our listeners and readers out of the opportunity to know about it and see it. We did the same kind of thing with “Miss Potter,” which also would fit into this kind of deal.
