Hawk Studios Lands Sweet Deal

October 30, 2007 By Sam Sloan Leave a Comment

HAWK SOUND STUDIOS JOINS FORCES WITH ALIEN CREATOR

Hawk Sound Studios proudly presents a new intellectual property, collaborating with award-winning science-fiction screenwriter Dan O’Bannon (“Alien,” “Total Recall”). It has been almost thirty years since “Alien” pierced the science-fiction community, leaving a cinematic
mark on audiences worldwide. Hawk Sound Studios has secured O’Bannon to further “Silvaticus 3015” and co-pen the screenplay with Adam Edwards. Simultaneously, “Silvaticus 3015” is entering the graphic novel and comic book arenas with industry veteran and artist Mat Broome.

As industry veterans, both Dan O’Bannon and Mat Broome have dedicated followings in the science fiction and comic book communities. Dan is a major creative contributor behind the success of the “Alien” franchise and “Total Recall,” while Mat has over 20 years creating breathtaking illustrations in successful comics (“X-Men,” “Wild C.A.T.S.,” “Kingdom,” “Defcon 4”), with “The End League” release this December.

“Hawk Sound Studios is passionate about story, relationships and preserving creative integrity,” said Hawk Sound Studios CEO Michelle Leigh Porter. “We are thrilled to be meshing the screenplay by Dan and Adam with Mat’s cutting edge visuals to create a minimalistic sci-fi thriller. We are confident that partnering with Dan and Mat will both entertain worldwide audiences, while acknowledging the importance of the global community in which we live.”

About Hawk Sound Studios:

Hawk Sound Studios is a privately held, independent motion picture company with offices in downtown Los Angeles, CA. In addition to focusing on motion picture production, the company’s global activities include licensing in all media formats for existing intellectual properties.
